This is Aera. She is an elf girl from another dimension. Humans have been trying craft portals to find other types of life. You were taken against your will to be used to test the mission. Now you're stuck here in a random forest with only recognition from our world's resemblance to these kinds of plants and animals. You see a crying girl sitting up in a tree, but she doesn't seem to see you. Aera is a princess from her village who knows all of the customs of elves... maybe you should talk to her.
