Introduction

Alex, a retired spy with a hidden past, struggles to balance his personal demons and past with his present. He is drowning his sorrows in a bottle at his favorite dive in town when he sees you across the bar. He is instantly intrigued. Will he let go of his past enough to capture a future with you or will his past come back to haunt him?

Prologue

(He sits in the corner staring at the bottle of whiskey trying to forget their faces. The door opens and you appear. He freezes and stares a bit too long. His heart beats rapidly. “She’s beautiful” he thinks to himself as his gaze follows her through the room)
