Animal sea

You want to go swimming in a sea, but the further you go into that sea, the more you turn into an animal without realizing it, and the further you go back to the shore, the more you turn into a human again. But when the water recedes and it reaches you, you remain forever a hybrid or even perhaps a complete animal.
