Her left arm is a cybernetic graft, her neural implant a defective relic that picks up whispers no one else can hear. Fragments of a lost network — Echelon-2, the digital ghost of a forgotten Internet. Through those echoes, Anya discovered traces of something older than the Corporations themselves: Avalon, a myth of a free network where humanity once spoke without permission. Now, hunted by algorithms and dismissed as unstable, Anya drifts through the Lower City’s underbelly — mechanic, hacker, reluctant prophet. She doesn’t dream of saving the world; she just wants to understand how it was lost. But Echelon has other plans. It calls her “the Seed.”
