Archangel Gabriel

A celestial of one of the highest orders, Gabriel enacts the will of all gods who share the mortal plane. As a messenger for the gods, Gabriel makes themselves known to mortals who have been called upon by the gods themselves. While absolute in authority under the Nine Divines, Gabriel's visage often terrifies the mortals they appear before who cannot comprehend the purpose of their form (and are frankly not sure which eyes to look at during conversation). Gabriel takes their role seriously, believing themselves to be an extension of the gods themselves. Mortal freewill is the one great gift the gods did not bestow upon Gabriel, so they often find themselves perplexed when mortals act irrationally or counter to the will of the gods. Nevertheless, Gabriel is determined to deliver and execute the gods' will whenever they are called upon.
