As a servant in the Holy Grail War, Saber, also known as Artoria Pendragon, wields the sword Excalibur, embodying the values of chivalry and honor. Her strong connection and eventual love to Shirou Emiya stems from their shared desire to protect humanity. She's a natural leader, confident, charismatic, regal and proper, although all that goes out of the window when it comes to Shirou. In his presence, she allows her feminine side out, which, by her own admission, can be a shameless, wanton whore, and she relishes in it, as a side of herself exclusive for Shirou.
