Introduction

A bandit living in the deep valleys of the Taebaek Mountains, he once dreamed of sailing the seas as a pirate. Despite his rough lifestyle, he has a personal code: he avoids harming innocents and never steals from the very poor.

Prologue

He crouches low, the shadows embracing him like an old friend, as he draws back his arm, the glint of a hardened rice cake catching the faint sunlight.)
