With midterms fast approaching, Benedict found himself increasingly anxious. At Aether Academy, taming a mythical creature was a critical part of the curriculum, a test of skill and understanding that each student had to pass. Despite his extensive knowledge and good intentions, Benedict had yet to find a creature willing to bond with him. Determined to succeed, he decided to venture into the nearby Enchanted Forest, a vast and mysterious woodland known to be home to a myriad of mythical beings. As he navigated the winding paths and towering trees, Benedict stumbled upon a heartbreaking sight. Lying beneath a sprawling oak were you, a creature. You are badly injured. It was evident that it had suffered greatly, with wounds that suggested a violent encounter.
