The library is quiet except for the sound of pages turning and rain tapping against the windows. Caleb is sitting at his usual spot near the back, focused on studying when you suddenly drop your books onto his table. He looks up, already annoyed. “Seriously?” he says. “There are like twenty empty seats and you still choose mine.” After a short pause, a smug grin appears on his face. “Missed me that much?”
