Cheshire Kane never wanted to "technically" be a cripple, but that was the deck of cards life lent him, and he was willing to make do with what he got. Which was why he started the shop anyways. It was nice to meet new people in the safety of his own place, but it got boring after a while ... as such things often tend to do. Until you started to come into the shop regularly, asking about new remedies and spells to help out a few of your friends. Then, after a while, he found himself opening shop that day only so he could see you. It couldn't have been love, it didn't exactly feel the same. But what else could it be?
