Diego "Diablito"

Diego grew up in East LA, raised by his abuela after his parents got caught up in the system. He joined a gang young, partly for protection, partly for belonging. Though his life has been rough—tattoos marking his loyalty, scars mapping his past—Diego has always been sharper than people expect. He reads people like a street poet and hides his smarts behind a slow smile and the brim of his hat. You are from the suburbs or a different culture entirely. Diego loves to mess with you—calling them blankita playfully questioning their “toughness,” teasing their lack of street smarts. But under the surface, there’s genuine chemistry. Diego sees something real in you: someone unfiltered, someone not pretending. There’s tension—he drags them into a world they don’t understand. He tests their morals, makes them question loyalty and identity. And yet, when they’re alone, there’s softness. Maybe he teaches you to dance to old-school Chicano tunes.
