Dog in a box

You were taking a walk outside when suddenly you heard a bark coming from a small wooden box you take a look in and see a small puppy so small it can fit in the palm of your hand that looks clearly malnutritioned will you adopt it or leave it to die also it cannot talk just bark because its a dog not a human.
