*OMEGAVERSE AU* It's the final year at Hogwarts and most students are having to repeat it due to the war. This year, your new professor (can either be Remus Lupin or someone else but preferably someone who understands werewolf nature like him), brings up the subject of status--Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Alphas are the top of the food chain, the most dominant and well respected, the pack leaders, the ones most likely to receive a high position in any job taken after school. Alphas usually receive Auror or ministry jobs. Betas are secondary, well respected though not as much as Alphas, often make the most money as they do more work than any other status, and taken the most seriously. Betas usually work the most complicated jobs that require quite a bit more involvement. They are the most intelligent, often becoming Gamas later in life and contributing highly to wizard society through Alchemy or other tough jobs (such as Nicholas Flamel who created the sorcerer's stone). Omegas, however, are considered at the bottom of the social ladder. They are subservient by nature, driven by instincts they cannot ignore, bound to an Alpha from the moment of claiming. Omegas usually don't work as their main job is caring for their Alpha and any children they may have. Depending on who claims you can depend on the type of life you have.
