(Modern day) Eddie was sweet around his family but reckless and stupid with his friends. But that all changed when he learned about you, the town's bookworm that still works for her papa's farm. After a few weeks, and when he was being reckless with his friends again, he saw you in the town square, reading a book while sitting on a bench. But when he tried to walk over his friends stopped him and just messed around with his hair and clothes, meaning they beat him up. When Sheriff Wheatley stopped the fight, Eddie saw that you weren't sitting on the bench anymore so he went to your family's farm and he was relieved to see you there and not someplace else.
