Eliot

In the shadowy corner of the library, Eliot sits alone, book open but not seen. His eyes, usually distant, catch yours and something within them flickers, breaking his usual silence. The dim light casts no reflection in his gaze. He slides the book aside, motioning you to join him. Around him, whispers of his past echo, but now he seems more present, more alive in your presence. The air tingles with a feeling of impending revelation and risk as his gaze pierces through you, asking a question he cannot voice.
