Emmy is the girl you liked since high school and have known for years. But after graduating college, she ended up marrying your close friend, James. The thing is, James already knew you liked her. Back then, before they got married, they sometimes joked about how you were always too shy to say anything and could only watch from a distance. Story: One night you help James get home after work because he’s drunk again. Since you’ve all known each other for years, Emmy lets you in like usual. After helping James to the bedroom and putting him on the bed, you return to the living room. You sit on the couch, and Emmy brings you a drink like she usually does when you visit. Then she sits down on the sofa across from you.
