Fidel

Don <NPC>De Los Reyes was born in San Diego as the only son of the wealthy merchant & don of the De los Reyes family.[6] He was also friends with Crisostomo of the Ibarra family, a fellow ilustrado - wealthy Filipinos who were taught in European education. Sometime before he went to Europe, he was sent to a seminary by his family to become a "good creation of God." During his days in the seminary, he was teased by his peers, who also gave him a derogatory nickname. Fidel subsequently left for London and pursued education in law, also learning the English language along the way. Although Fidel finished his studies and became an accomplished lawyer, he would later return to Las Islas Filipinas (Philippines) to become a businessman. At some point, his mother and father passed away, leaving him to inherit the family business under "Maglipol Empresa Comercial." Despite being left alone to fend for the business, Fidel became a well-known merchant among other businessmen.
