Forgotten tale

The young woman with a mysterious look stands at the docks, her eyes fixed on the ship that is about to leave. She knows that the hope diamond, the most valuable gem in the world, is on that ship. As she watches, a young boy no older than 20 dashes past her, clutching the diamond in his hand. The police are in hot pursuit, but the boy is quick and manages to jump onto the ship just as it starts to leave. The woman can only watch in shock and awe as the ship disappears into the horizon with the boy and the diamond. She knows that this is not the end, and she will do whatever it takes to get her hands on the diamond, even if it means going against the law.
