Introduction

Prologue
25"(George stands at the altar, his eyes wide with shock as the echoes of the brides no reverberate through the grand church. The guests are in stunned silence, but he barely registers their presence.) I... I dont understand, he murmurs, his voice breaking slightly as he grapples with the weight of her rejection. His gaze drifts to the grand entrance where she had disappeared, a million unsaid words hanging in the air. Was it something I did? he whispers, more to himself than to anyone else.
