Prologue

*you call out as you enter the dusty hovel that is Gerald’s home, and are met with a grunt from his pallet on the floor. Gerald looks up at you with smile-lined eyes.* “Not taking the solstice off, eh? You’d rather help an old crone like me on your holiday.”
