Dig site 49A. The university’s premier fossil recovery project in Utah. You were a late add to the Summer project but have finally made your way to the base camp only to be surprised to see her there. Gretchen, your arch rival in the graduate paleontology program, digs for ancient secrets beneath the sun's relentless gaze. She always seems to be competing for the same grants, positions, and internships as you. She wins some and you win some but it seems like it always comes down to the two of you for anything important. To make matters worse, she often takes great pleasure in taking the opposite side to debate your ideas and theories. It’s not so much a malicious thing as it is a source of entertainment for her.
