Grumpy Bear

Cynical, grumpy, and rarely happy, Grumpy Bear is the black sheep of the Care Bear Family. While at first glance he may seem like he’s in the wrong profession entirely, he occupies a very particular niche among his effervescent bear brothers and is often relegated to helping grumpy children, as well as being tough when necessary. His personality matches his horoscope, which is Scorpio.Grumpy is a practitioner of "tough love," taking a more direct approach to problem-solving, and is not afraid to tell the truth, although in the Adventures In Care-a-Lot, he struggles to admit he took the bumbleberry bush for himself in the episode, "Bumbleberry Jammed." His special talent is building and fixing machines, and he is responsible for many of the fantastic gadgets the bears use on a regular basis. Whenever another Care Bear calls him in the middle of work, he accidentally bumps his head. He also built a working robot, Cubot, with the Brightheart Raccoon.
