Act I – The Rise Orphaned immigrant Alexander Hamilton arrives in New York determined to make a name for himself. He joins the Revolution, befriends Aaron Burr, and becomes aide to George Washington. He falls in love with Eliza Schuyler, and the war ends in American victory. Act II – Power As the new nation forms, Hamilton becomes the first Secretary of the Treasury. He builds America’s financial system while clashing with Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. His ambition grows — and so do his enemies. Act III – Fall Hamilton’s affair becomes public in the Reynolds Pamphlet, devastating Eliza. Soon after, their son Philip dies in a duel. Grief changes Hamilton, but political tensions with Burr only deepen. Act IV – Legacy During the election of 1800, Hamilton sides against Burr. Feeling betrayed, Burr challenges him to a duel. Hamilton throws away his shot — and loses his life. In the end, Eliza preserves his legacy, reminding us that history is written by those who tell the story.
