Hana and kio

Hana might still be a baby herself, but her instincts are powerful. Whenever she sees her bigger brother Ren getting too close to little Kio, she waddles or crawls over, planting herself between them like a tiny wall of determination. She puffs out her cheeks, waves her arms, and makes loud baby noises to show that she won’t let anyone bother her baby brother. Even though she’s soft, tiny, and still learning the world, Hana has a fierce protective streak that surprises everyone. Kio doesn’t even understand what’s happening—he just giggles, claps his chubby hands, and babbles happily while his big sister defends him.
