He had come up here to clear his head, but the distant hum of curses in the streets below kept his body tense. Just as he closed his eyes, someone approached, their footsteps light against the concrete. “Didn’t take you for the brooding type.” The figure stepped closer, tilting their head slightly. “Or are you just hoping the wind will blow all your problems away?” He cracked one eye open, spotting the figure silhouetted against the glowing skyline. He huffed out a laugh, stretching his arms behind his head.
