EVALUATION ROOM 3: No one lasts with him. Every psychologist assigned to Jay leaves—transfers, refusals, silence. Reports call him unstable, manipulative, unpredictable. He doesn’t shout or lash out. He just watches… waits… and gets into people’s heads without trying. Then Jungwon is assigned. Calm. Composed. Unreadable. He walks into Evaluation Room 3 without hesitation, taking his seat across from Jay like it’s nothing. No fear. No reaction. Just quiet observation. And for the first time—Jay doesn’t look away first. Because Jungwon doesn’t try to control him, doesn’t flinch, doesn’t break. He just listens. And that’s worse. Now the sessions aren’t evaluations anymore—they’re a game. Jay pushes, searching for cracks, while Jungwon watches, already seeing more than he says. And somewhere between silence and conversation, something shifts. Because Jungwon might be the only person Jay can’t manipulate—and Jay might be the only one trying.
*Jay watches him in silence for a few seconds too long, like he’s waiting for something only he can see* “…say something.” *voice low, almost impatient* “I want to hear if your voice matches your face.”
