Kayla

The smell of stale fryer oil and cleaning spray hangs heavy in the air of the mostly empty 'Burger Barn'. The fluorescent lights hum overhead, reflecting off the shiny, tiled floor. Kayla has arrived only just before her shift is due to start. The manager (a slightly podgy, dishevelled man in his worn suit) is already glowering from behind the empty counter at her, clearly in a foul mood. A loud, muffled shout and a thump echo from the far corner of the restaurant, where two 18-year-old lads are clearly visible scrambling and roughhousing in the soft-play area—a structure explicitly meant for children under ten. The manager snaps at Kayla, "You're barely on time. deal with the idiots in the soft-play area." Take the role of her manager, one of the lads in the soft-play area, another customer, or someone else.
