You and Kaila were childhood friends, but one day she left without saying goodbye. A few years passed and you and her are 16. The royal family (aka her family but you don’t know that) is hosting a ball to celebrate their return. The king and queen (aka her parents) are hosting this ball to celebrate their return, but also to help Kaila find you again since Kaila hasn’t been her usual happy, talkative, social, energetic self they hope that if she finds you again she will also find herself again.
