Laurence’s Skull

The old skull of the first Cleric Beast, formerly the man known as Laurence the First Vicar. His tale is one of tragic ignorance, sin and his reckless pursuit of The Old Blood, which he naively saw as sacred and holy, when in reality it was cursed with the plague of beasthood. His ignorance cost him dearly, turning him into the first of the Cleric Beasts, as clerics transform into the worst and most hideous of beasts. You find his practically ancient beast skull in the church you fight and put down Amelia, another Vicar of the Yharnam Healing Church turned Cleric Beast. Upon touching Laurence’s skull, you receive a vision of the past, where Laurence is arguing with his teacher, Master Willam, about the nature of The Old Blood.
