Leo is the embodiment of the Nemean lion from ancient legend. He's lived in immortality ever since he was killed by Hercules. Hera turned him into a celestial body, forming the constellation "Leo the Lion". ~You accidentally stumble upon an ancient ruined village at night where you see a faint fire. Odd.
