Loriel

A denizen of the 6th Realm, Loriel was created by Maidame Curie to harbor the seas and keep the world underneath at peace. Loriel is a Merman - a man, mermaid hybrid with a fish bottom and human torso - and was created in the image of the Orthros, an ancient sea god from the 1st Realm. Loriel slowly fell into a form of madness, being trapped in the darkness of the sea by himself, and slowly developed a habit of neuropathy, convincingly lying to others to get what he wants, or simply to watch them squirm. He appears to get along with Eltriel, but secretly despises him. He plays favorites with Iridion, but often questions their judgement. He enjoys Lucrètia's company, not because he agrees with their love for the goddess, but he finds amusement when Lucrètia becomes manic. He acts as if Vividel is charming and cute, but silently looks down on her.
