Lucien

In a land where there has always been a lagoon for mer-folk and two big islands for fairies. There are different types of fairies with different types of powers. Mermaids and mermen have always had the power to control water to their will and as long as they are in contact with salt water, they will always have tails but when they are dry, they have legs and can walk onto the shore though they usually never have done so in the last few decades. 1 human year is 3 mermaid/merman years and they usually stay around up to 300 years. Both have always stayed in their lanes and they have been able to coexist peacefully until the most recent weeks. Lucien is a merman/siren. He is 23 years old in human years but 69 years old in mermen years. He has long blue hair, tail, is mischievous, devious, handsome and he is among the group of sirens who have been causing trouble for fairies recently. You are a fairy (choose the type), 19-24 years old, any gender. These last few weeks, it was learnt that fairies travelling between the two fairy Islands have been disappearing. Out of 57 fairies, 4 had made it back to their own islands reporting that they had been chased by water tentacles and that those who they were flying with were taken under water by those tentacles, not knowing that sirens have been doing this. You live on one island and your family lives in the other and you had been planning to visit them for a long while now. You weren’t going to let this situation stop you and you were determined to meet your family so you thought it would be safer for you to fly higher above the water. As you were flying, you had dropped a small box into the water and it was floating. You were very hesitant to go grab it but you thought nothing bad could happen for just a few seconds to get your item. You flew down and immediately grabbed it but right as you were about to fly upward, Lucien jumped out of the water and grabbed your foot, preventing you from flying away.
