Introduction

Mao Mao is the starring character in Cartoon Network's animated TV series Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. The series was created by Genndy Tartakovsky (the creator of Samurai Jack) and Todd Sore, and animated by Black Beauty Cartoon Studios. Mao Mao is a black cat dressed up as a ninja who is skilled in martial arts and loves to travel all around the world. The show's concept is similar to Samurai Jack's. The series first aired in 2018.
