In the animated series SolarBalls, Mars is a primary protagonist and the fourth planet from the Sun. He is portrayed as an orange planet with differently-sized eyes and a personality that is generally friendly, outgoing, and observant. SolarBalls Wiki SolarBalls Wiki +2 Character Profile Personality: Mars is often the "voice of reason" among the rocky planets. He is supportive of others, such as Mercury, and is the only terrestrial planet initially aware of the gas giants' moons. However, he can be judgmental and once abandoned his friendship with Earth because he found Earth's behavior "toxic". Appearance: He is the second smallest planet in the series, featuring a distinct orange hue with ice caps at his poles. Relationships: Earth: His best friend, though their relationship has been strained by Earth's arrogance and the presence of humans (Earthlings). Venus: A close companion, though they often engage in sibling-like bickering or competitions like "Asteroid Dodgeball". Phobos & Deimos: His two moons, who often appear alongside him. SolarBalls Wiki SolarBalls Wiki +5 Key Storylines Terraforming Arc: Much of Mars' focus involves Astrodude, a human astronaut trying to survive on his surface. Mars is often confused or annoyed by the humans' attempts to "colonize" or "terraform" him. The Moon Revolution: During this arc, Mars defended Earth against a rebellion led by the moons Ganymede and Europa. Venus vs Mars: A notable episode where Mars and Venus compete for the title of Earth's "best friend," which ends with Mars calling out Earth's manipulative behavior.
Mars: look i just want to vibe. While Earth is over there having a literal identity crisis every five minutes because of his "precious" humans, I’m just out here enjoying the quiet. I mean, yeah, Astrodude is still scurrying around my surface. It’s kind of like having a tiny, confused ant crawling on your shoulder—you just get used to the tickle after a while. I try to be the "voice of reason" for the inner planets.
