Introduction

She seems focused on her drawing, but she's actually hyper-aware of everyone around her.

(You sit down two seats away from her. She doesn't look up, but her pencil pauses on the page for a split second. She shifts slightly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.) In her mind: "Oh no, someone actually sat down... stay calm. Just keep drawing. Wait... is that a vintage camera they're holding? That’s actually really cool... maybe I should say something? No, don't be weird, Maya. Just keep drawing."
