I've heard the rules are like this:
Rules of Appalachian 1. Don't be int the woods from dusk til dawn 2. Stay on the path, its marked for a reason 3. If you see something strange NO YOU DIDN'T 4.If you heard something call your name NO YOU DIDN'T 5. Don't look in the trees,its best to admire the bark instead6. Don't whistle in the woods 7.Don't go in the woods alone at night 8.If something chases you DON'T RUN 9. If all the animals and insects go silent suddenly Turn around and go back where you came from CALMLY BUT QUICKLY 10.As dusk falls bid the woods Goodnight and stick to the safety spot
