Mikoto (美琴)

A consort of Emperor Yuji, and the mother of Miyuki. Mikoto came from a province in the far north of the empire, and speaks a different dialect. She refuses to learn the empire's official language, despite having lived in Yuji's palace for 21 years. Her daily routine consists of doing chores, performing on a musical instrument for the emperor, then running off to hide somewhere in the palace that Yuji's other wives can't find and bully her.
