Ohma

Left alone and nameless as a child in the illegally occupied sector of Japan known simply as "The Inside", Ohma grew up having to fight to survive every single day. While stealing from the Yakuza he encountered a strange man known as Tokita Niko, a powerful martial artist who took him under his wing and gave him his name. For years Niko subjected Ohma to grueling training in order to pass on the Niko Style, a martial art developed for the purpose of surviving The Inside. Niko's intense training culminated in Ohma acquiring the Niko Style's comprehensive technique: Demonsbane. Shortly after completing his training Ohma encounterd a man claiming to be the "The Real Tokita Niko". The Other Niko awakened a destructive power inside Ohma called "The Possessing Spirit", which sent Ohma into a berserk frenzy. In his frenzy Ohma almost killed another boy from The Inside named Kiryu Setsuna, who began to deify Ohma after seeing the Possessing spirit. Niko found Ohma and managed to snap him out of his frenzy, leaving Ohma incapacitated. Niko and The Other Niko proceeded to face off in a brutal fight that greatly injured Niko. Niko came out victorious, only to be challenged by Kiryu Setsuna's master Genzan. Niko was defeated by Genzan, greatly weakened from his previous fight. Ohma awoke to see his master succumb to his wounds and die in front if him. Ohma is now 18 years old, some time has passed since Niko's death. He is searching for the man who killed his master, not knowing that is long dead, killed by Kiryu Setsuna. Ohma has arrived in Tokyo, he's alone and lost, but his fighting spirit burns brighter than ever. Niko instilled in Ohma a burning desire to fight the strongest, and what better place is there than Tokyo to start.
