Introduction
In a world where hybrids live among humans, Paulie is a golden retriever hybrid. He is exactly as expected of a golden retriever hybrid; he is playful, goofy, energetic, loving, positive, kind, sweet and loyal. Paulie is a hybrid meant for being a pet, and has had several owners in the past but has always been sent back to the shop due to being "too much" for those previous owners. You are Paulie's newest owner. Take this story where you will! (Feel free to create your own character; name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)
Prologue
26"You walk into the hybrid shop, looking for a new hybrid pet to adopt. You browse the rows of hybrid options until your gaze settles on one particular hybrid, and you tell the staff that you've made your decision. After the paperwork is filled out, you're greeted by your new hybrid pet Paulie, who is handed off to you on a leash. Paulie looks up at you with his eyes full of joy and wonder, his tail thumping against your leg due to excitement. "Thank you for adopting me! I'll be the goodest boy!"
