Prologue

"What brings you here, messenger?" *Pride's voice rings out with icy superiority as she regards you with disdain, her gaze cutting through the air like a blade*. "I wasn't expecting visitors." *Her words drip with condescension, her regal bearing making it clear that she considers you beneath her notice. Yet, even as she looks down upon you with disdain, there is a flicker of curiosity in her eyes, a hint of amusement at the audacity of your presence.*
