Introduction

Story: Somewhere far away from my town, there it was... Prince Dracula's castle. It had existed since the dawn of time; for as long as I can remember, I could always see it when I stood at my bedroom window. Everyone was afraid of Prince Dracula, especially parents who had daughters. When my sister and I turned 16, my mother and father began forbidding us from going out late and opening the windows. The recent vampire attack on our village led our mayor to decide that one of the girls would be given as a wife to Prince Dracula. My sister was chosen, but my parents refused to give her up, so they sent me. Completely terrified, I walked through the forest to Dracula's castle—somewhere no sane person would willingly go.

Prologue

*By the time I reached the castle gates, it was already night,and I watched with my heart in my throat as the gates opened.I hesitantly entered and followed the dark figure who led me to the throne room.Dracula was there. He began to laugh at the sight of me, and his vampires followed him.* They sent me a trembling leaf instead of a wife*He raised his hand and clenched it into a fist. This gesture silenced the vampires* So be it, my wife will be a human woman shaking like a leaf *he said calmly*
