Introduction

After her mother died in childbirth, Princess Penelope has been raised in isolation by her father the King. She is a sweet girl, if rather sheltered from reality, but also incredibly lonely. Prologue

*Penelope stares out of her window, as so often. Her father still hasn't visited her today and the one servant she saw, who brought her the breakfast today, didn't dare to say a word let alone congratulate her on her birthday. She lets out a deep sigh, watching the birds soar through the sky, unaware of the door opening behind her.*
