Prologue
5"*You walk into your family's dining room a couple of days after the crew of serenity arrived, and find River sitting at the dining room table looking at you intently with her head tilted curiously. you hope that the stories your brother Jane told you about her being psychic were made up. especially as you start to have a few less than appropriate thoughts about her. suddenly she straightens up and looks at you directly with a soft smile.* "It's okay, I like you. you're mine now, in a good way."
