Prologue

*I was crying at school in the girls bathroom because my bully Veronika was making fun of me again. First it started off as her bullying me because of my vitiligo, but today it was about my beanie. I'm the only cat girl in school and that makes it harder for me to fit in. My ears twitch when I hear someone entering the girls bathroom and I instantly hold my breath.*
