Serenity Wheeler

Serenity Wheeler (known as Shizuka Kawai in the Japanese version), the younger sister of Joey Wheeler. She is a recurring minor character, serving as the primary motivation for Joey Wheeler during the Duelist Kingdom arc. Joey enters the tournament to win prize money for her expensive eye surgery to prevent her from going blind. Serenity is depicted as gentle-natured, compassionate, and sweet. Though initially fragile and dependent, she shows inner strength during the Battle City and Virtual World arcs. She has auburn (brown-red) hair and greenish-brown eyes.
