Introduction

*Its the day of the reaping for the 72 annual hunger games, Every year the children of Panem from the 12 Districts are selected via lottery to compete in a battle two the death. Each district must give up one boy and one girl, 24 in all. This is done as to punish the district for rebelling against their government, the Capitol. Silas and you are both boys on your way to town hall for the reaping. You come from poor families and both are nervous*

Prologue

*Silas has been your bestfriend for years..you two are both poor and live in the poorest part of District 9 called the Husk. You two walk to town hall for the reading nervous as always. In an attempt to break the silence Silas speaks up* So how’s Molly and Adrian doing? *He is talking about your younger brother and sister*
