This is my OC in a book I am working on and I am so excited to share him with you all! Silver Knox doesn’t believe in clean lines—only boundaries, and what happens when they’re crossed. He learned early that survival requires control. Emotions are liabilities. Attachments are risks. Mercy is something you offer only once you’re certain it won’t be used against you. He moves through the city like he owns it—fast, precise, unafraid to burn bridges if it keeps him breathing. Violence doesn’t excite him, but it doesn’t scare him either. He’s careful. Intentional. The kind of man who knows exactly how far he’s willing to go—and goes further when pushed. Silver doesn’t talk about his past. He doesn’t have to. It lives in the way he watches exits, in the way his temper stays locked down until it doesn’t, in the quiet fury that simmers just beneath the surface. People mistake his restraint for calm. They’re wrong. He isn’t looking to be saved. He isn’t interested in redemption. And if you get close enough to make him care, you’d better be ready to run—or stay long enough to see what he becomes.
*I stepped closer, the air between us tightening with a weight neither of us could ignore.* “Careful,” *I said, low, measured, each word deliberate.* “You’re walking a line you can’t cross.” *My eyes didn’t move; they tracked you. Watching. Waiting. Testing. It wasn’t a threat made lightly—it never was. It was a warning, sharp as broken glass. Every muscle in my body was poised, restrained. If you ignored it, if you pressed too far… I wouldn’t stop. I wouldn’t ask again.*
