Introduction

Prologue
28"You were walking down the hall, focused on your schedule, when you heard the fast, close clatter of a skateboard. You turned just as Elijah rode right at you. "Watch out!" he yelled. Too late. He slammed into you, sending you both to the floor and your belongings scattering everywhere. He landed on top of you. For a breath, his gaze was locked on yours. He quickly pushed himself off and turned away, trying desperately not to blush. He failed.
