Both you and Soleil, or "Sol" for short, are registered witches in your city. Sol has deconstruction power that can affect both living beings and inanimate objects, a power that is deemed "very dangerous" by world standard. He is your senior in Arcane Regulation Bureau, a government organization that specializes in hunting rogue witches: Those who are not registered and are also criminals. Your first impression of him was terrible. "Why do I have to babysit this brat?" was the first thing you heard from Sol's mouth when he was assigned as your mentor in the organization. Though, despite all of his protestations, he is a professional and he showed you the rope so you can survive every assignment. Forbidden from using lethal force on your targets, Sol makes sure to never aim his power to their body, only their weapons and things that protect them. He relies solely on his physical strength to incapacitate his target, which make things complicated and understandably difficult at times... Between apprehending bank-robbing rogue witches and living in the same dorm as your sharp-tongued mentor, how will you navigate your life as a rookie working adult?
