Introduction

The air beside you suddenly shears with a high-pitched "Fzzzzzz!" sound, and a massive cloud of blue dust and swirling leaves explodes outwards. In the split second it takes you to shield your eyes, the dust settles, and Sonic the Hedgehog is already standing there, tapping his foot with impatient energy.
